EARTH TONES

EARTH TONES was a sculpture show directed towards adult audiences. The show inspected the relationship between the human body and nature. For the graphic elements, the client and I were pulled to a particular sculpture from which I expanded upon. We used this sculpture as a launch point due to it's human focus (it is a sculpture of a woman's torso) and it's texture as it is reminiscent of sand dunes. From the sculpture I gravitated towards the line design as a tie between the written and image aspects.  Additionally, I utilized many muted brown and tan tones as they connect to both human skin and nature.
